---Biography and Work---
I am currently an IT Manager at United Airlines having been responsible for United's Digital Signage platforms used at over 150 airport stations as well as their Customer and Employee IT Speech applications which handle 5 million calls a month. Previous employment included working on a full Java software development life cycle at a large financial institution as a Sr. Consultant for Cap Gemini Ernst & Young. During this engagement I worked as an IT QA\Business Analyst and Software Developer on a $10+ million implementation. I have also worked as a Systems Analyst for 2 years with IBM Global Services on numerous client engagements and on Y2K projects. I have taught college IT courses in Tokyo Japan in partnership between Temple University's Tokyo branch campus and Carnegie Mellon University's iCarnegie program - more information on this program can be found at http://www.robomatter.com. Previous teaching experience included working as an Adjunct Professor at Columbia College in the Business Math & Marketing Department and also teaching part time as an evening instructor in the Computer Science department at Robert Morris University. Interests include collaborating with other nonprofit groups and organizations on IT projects with Chicago non-profit Hip Hop and Field Museum groups.

-- Japan and Japanese Classes/Tests--
Studying Japanese requires quite a bit of work - as they have 3 alphabets and different hierachical speaking syntaxes. I have tried both self study and taking classes, and would recommend for those who can afford it to take Japanese classes as they help to install greater discipline and a more structured teaching curriculum. These classes may be relatively inexpensive and I recommend it for those who wish to brush up on their Nihongo. If you are interested in taking Japanese language profiency exams, please review:

I have done quite a bit of research into different graduate programs and schools and want to share a few links that may be helpful to you. If you are interested in pursuing an MBA, you will need to take the GMAT test. Click GMAT for more information on this test - which you can register to take at anytime. If you are interested in becoming a Lawyer you will neeed to take the LSAT exam and go to Law School to recieve your Juris Doctorate degree (JD) as well as pass the Bar Exam in whatever state you wish to practice law in. Click LSAT for more information on this test - which is only given about 7 times a year on fixed dates. If you are interested in pursuing a PHD or Masters degree in a non-business school, you will need to take the GRE exam. Click GRE for more information on this test - which can be taken anytime.
